How To Play Blackjack?

Blackjack is today one of the most popular casino games on the planet. No longer is blackjack confined to a casino table; it is also played online all over the world. Learning to play blackjack does not take much time. However the right application of mind during betting and playing is important. In blackjack the players play against the dealer and the purpose of the game is to achieve as higher number of points than the dealer. However if your total score goes above 21 then you go bust and lose the game. You lose the money you have bet to the dealer. The Ace can be considered as 1 or 11 while the jack, queen and king have 10 points respectively.

In blackjack, the dealer will initially deal two cards to each player. One of the cards is always face up while the other is face down. It is not a matter of concern if the dealer can see one of your cards because the decision is fixed depending on the rules. In the game, the dealer must hit on 16 and then stand on 17. Hence if he has only 16 then he must take another card from the deck and once he reaches 17 he is not allowed to take another card from the deck.

Once you are dealt your cards, you have to decide whether you want to stand or hit. If you decide that you want to stand then you will have to stand against the dealer’s hand. If you decide to hit then the dealer will give you another card to face up from the deck. The value of this new card will be added to your total. However if you go over 21 then you go bust and the game is over for you.
